Welcome to Mealio. These Terms and Conditions explain how customers, restaurants, vendors, delivery riders and visitors may use Mealio's website, mobile apps and related services.

1. About Mealio

Mealio is a food delivery and restaurant marketplace that helps customers discover restaurants, place orders, make payments and receive deliveries. Restaurants and vendors are responsible for preparing the products they list. Delivery riders help move orders from restaurants to customers.

2. Account Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account, placing an order, registering a restaurant or applying as a delivery rider. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

3. Orders and Availability

Menu items, prices, discounts, delivery fees, preparation times and availability may change based on restaurant operations, location, stock, traffic, weather and rider availability. An order is confirmed only after Mealio or the restaurant accepts it through the platform.

4. Payments

Mealio may support cash, mobile money, card, wallet or other payment methods depending on availability. You agree to pay the full order amount, including item prices, taxes where applicable, delivery fees, service fees and any confirmed add-ons.

5. Customer Conduct

Customers must use Mealio respectfully and lawfully. Abuse, fraud, false orders, repeated unjustified cancellations, harassment of restaurants or riders, and misuse of promotions may lead to order refusal, account restriction or suspension.

6. Restaurant and Vendor Responsibilities

Restaurants and vendors are responsible for accurate menus, food quality, hygiene, packaging, preparation times, pricing, legal compliance and fulfilment of accepted orders. Mealio may review or remove listings that create poor customer experiences or breach platform standards.

7. Delivery

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance and may change. Customers should provide complete delivery addresses, working phone numbers and reasonable access to the delivery location. Failed handoff caused by unreachable customers may affect refund eligibility.

8. Promotions and Coupons

Promotions, coupons and discounts may have limits, expiry dates, minimum order values, location restrictions and restaurant-specific conditions. Mealio may correct or cancel offers affected by technical errors or misuse.

9. Platform Changes

Mealio may update features, fees, policies, page content and service areas from time to time to improve the marketplace and comply with operational or legal requirements.
